Welcome to our February issue of Lincolnshire Life, where this month I have the pleasure of featuring and congratulating many of the county’s best producers, chefs, hoteliers and restaurateurs who I met at the annual Taste of Excellence and Tastes of Lincolnshire Awards. The ceremony took place at The Old Barn, Marston, near Grantham and guests travelled from all four corners of Lincolnshire to receive their awards.
Our Talk of the Town this month is Sleaford, a town on the cusp of a significant year. This already bustling market town will see more residential housing development and more events to attract visitors and locals equally. Individuals and organisations are being invited to sign up to a Sustainability Charter so that the town does its bit to tackle climate change.
