Summer is finally here! Just in time for the Lincolnshire Show, which promises to be even more spectacular this year. We have a complete run-down of the event, including news on the wonderful Lincolnshire Life marquee. Our theme this year is Life’s Grand and we will be host to an array of stately and country homes offering all the ingredients for a Grand Day Out, accompanied by three Lincolnshire bands to entertain you.
Also for this issue I had the pleasure of meeting Alan Ritson, probably best known within the county at present as co-proprietor of The Old Bakery restaurant in Lincoln. However, he and a team of other dedicated volunteers, have launched a brand new radio station serving the city and beyond. This ambitious project began a staggering twenty-five years ago, but perseverance has paid off and Lincoln City Radio is now broadcasting loud and clear.
